Flexikork Sound Underlayment

FlexiKork®Superb Sound Control

FlexiKork® is a flat, resilient underlayment that is used directly under a variety of floor finishes to yield exceptional sound control.  With its superb sound control the underlayment will outperform cork, felt, polyethylene, fiberglass and nylon matrix underlayment.  Provides the highest IIC and STC rating backed by both independent and field tests.  The material inhibits sound transfer through the floor-ceiling assembly by absorbing sound and vibration.  The sound and shock absorbing, flexible material will not break down or move under load.

FlexiKork® is suitable for a broad spectrum of housing including:  multi-family, high-rise, single-family, and commercial buildings.  Made from 100% resilient recycled rubber and cork it is an environmentally friendly, green product that meets LEED criteria.  FlexiKork® is anti-microbial and will prevent/inhibit the growth of micro-organisms.  It is a universal underlayment that is compatible under most types of grouted and non-grouted flooring installations, including ceramic tile, stone, solid and engineered hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and carpet.  No special tile/stone adhesive is needed.  Can thin-set tile and stone directly to the product per ASTM C627 to save time, labor, and money!
